SXL has over 35 years’ experience in the precision machining of castings supplied by the customer. The castings we process can be delivered directly by your chosen foundry to limit handling and transport. We work closely with several UK foundries who we can put you in contact with to support your project if required.

Although we specialise in CNC machining of Magnesium castings, we are also highly experienced in the precision machining of aluminium, cast iron and titanium castings.

As well as traditional raw casting machining, we also machine customer-supplied 3D printed castings.

We also offer CNC machining from extrusion and solid – whatever the volume, our modern manufacturing facility is at the very core of our operations.

We process free issue castings up to 1m³ and 1 tonne in weight.
